The new ‘General Data Protection Regulation’ (GDPR) that comes into effect on 25 May 2018 and is designed to create a unified data protection legislation across all EU member states that all countries within the European Union must comply with.

No one has full access to our site as sensitive areas are encrypted. All admin access is logged and unauthorised access to anyone other than admin is not allowed. Any data or information supplied or collected will only be used for legal and legitimate interests and for the purposes of running a holiday rental or real estate business that is to connect users with property owners, managers or agents and vice versa or improve or enhance user experience, improve effectiveness of marketing and increase bookings.

We will endeavour to ensure that information we hold is safe, secure, accurate and fit for the pupose it was intended and ensure that users are able to selectively opt-in or opt-out of any marketing communications. The only person or persons to have access to personal data such as contact details for property owners on our site are the owners of that information or the site administrators. We do not sahre or even hold any really sensitive data on our site but for site security much many parts of the site and code is encrypted to add an extra layer of security. Our site uses our own technology. We never sell or trade any personal information to any third party and would not consider doing so unless you have provided consent or asked us to do so or it is part of a legal company or management take over, merger or aquisition process and they are licensed to do so.

InternetVillaHolidays.com acts as a publisher of holiday homes and villas on a subcription or commission basis and as such we may hold contact information supplied about registered property owners, property managers, agents and advertisers who supply contact details so that users may book direct with owner or via an online booking system that allows owners to contact user using email supplied.

Owners are given access to update any details they wish to publish although in the interest of security and prevent spam we will not publish contact details unless it is in the interest of both parties to do so.

We may collect certain data on vistors who browse through our site and make booking enquiries via our online availability and bookings system that logs all enquiries for online approval and or collects IP addresses for verification or security purposes. We may contact persons on our email list for legitimate interest reasons to keep people informed of our website, special offers, newsletters or provide relevant marketing information with opt-out button. Users who do not wish to receive any marketing info or communication with us can specify what sort of communcations they are interested in or permanently opt out.
