DESCRIPTION
|
When Dawn Harverson first thought about setting-up Greenwich Holiday Lets, she wanted something more of the interior’s than the usual bland-box one generally finds one-self in during one’s travels.
As she had trained as an artist and worked as a stylist for a number of years for among others Country Life and Burberry, she was in the position to do something a little more eye-catching than one finds in the average accommodation.
The well appointed rooms are filled with sumptuous cut-velvet sofas in vivid colours to brighten any grey-day London may throw at you. Most of the furniture is sourced from The Designers Guild Shop in Chelsea or carefully selected pieces from antique shops that gives the rooms an individual look. Dawn’s original art-work adorns many of the walls. The guests, on arrival are welcomed with fresh flowers and a fridge full of basics.
There is a guide provided in each apartment to all the best places that Greenwich, World Heritage Site, has to offer. All the apartments are in the centre of Greenwich, a short-walk from all it has to offer including markets, theatre, music venues, Royal Park and all the incredible sites of Historical Greenwich. There is a discount on selected restaurants. Visitors feel at home immediately.
