The amenities include lifeguards, concessions, picnic tables & grills, rest rooms and showers. Volleyball courts, 4 tennis courts and a playground shaded by Australian pines. Parking is free. Turtle Beach is smaller, less crowded and perfect for shell collecting and capturing a sunset. Siesta Key has numerous restaurants and bars to visit, some within walking distance. Over the bridge in Sarasota there are a wide variety of restaurants, bars, nightclubs, respected art museums, and an abundance of shopping malls. The choices available here are what makes us so appealing to travelers of all ages, in all seasons. Local businesses offer sailing, dolphin watching, boat rentals, fishing and parasailing trips. There are a variety of crazy golf courses, along with a selection of classic golf courses framed by mature trees, and scenic lagoons with instruction, clubhouse and dining facilities.
