Chalet Diana is a vacation rental apartment in the Alpine village of Hasliberg-Reuti. Newly constructed in 1992, it’s a beautiful example of how traditional architecture can be combined with modern convenience.
Features DescriptionThis second-floor apartment features a blond wood interior and balcony with a sensational view of the spectacular Alps including the Eiger. The apartment sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Since the second bedroom is small, it is best for two to three adults or two adults and two children. Guests enjoy a modern living room and a well-furnished kitchen with dining table, laid out in an open floor plan. A shared laundry room is available (adjacent to the ground floor apartment).
Surrounding DescriptionAn easy ten minute walk leads to the Reuti village center with a small grocery store, shops, two transport stations and three restaurants.
Nearby Attractions DescriptionThe Hasliberg is best described as a hiker’s paradise, with the greatest variety and concentration of outstanding walks and hikes in the Heartland. There is a wonderful walk for families with children created around the stories of “Muggestutz,” a Hasliberg dwarf. Each of the villages has at least one or two good restaurants and small grocery stores supplying basic needs, and Hofhluh also features a fine little bakery. The post bus connects the 4 villages with the Brunig train station, which offers hourly service to the famed Bernese Oberland resort of Interlaken and the city of Luzern. An aerial tramway connects Reuti with Meiringen down in the valley every 30 minutes. Cable cars also connect Reuti to higher locations on the Hasliberg (gondolas to Kaserstatt, Bidmi, Magisalp and Planplatten) .
