"Portocristo", the port of Manacor, is 13 km from the town. Once a fishing village, it goes back to the 12th century. Today, the harbour has become a popular and high-class tourist destination. The sights include the "Cuevas del Drach" and "Cuevas dels Hams" grottos.
These are two impressive natural grottos which have helped make the town famous. Inside the "Cuevas del Drach" grotto is a natural lake where visitors are entertained by a concert orchestra and a light show and can go rowing.
