This accommodation is situated in a grand old building right outside of the old town of Krakow. A short walk will bring guests to the enchanting Wawel castle and old town as well as the old Jewish district with it’s countless cozy bars and unmistaken old world charm.
Features DescriptionAs you walk into this lovely two bedroom, one bathroom apartment, you will notice that it is designed in a clean and fresh manner. There is a large double bedroom as well as a bedroom with two single beds. An additional bed can be added to either room for a maximum of 5 persons. A full separate kitchen is divided by a breakfast bar so that the cook is always involved in the activity in the adjacent living and dining room. Ample sitting and dining room as well as a kid-friendly atmosphere fused with attractive and contemporary furnishings are just a few of the pluses that characterize this lovely vacation rental.
Surrounding DescriptionExperience the ancient royal capital and the intellectual centre of Poland by just taking a few steps from the doorway of this vacation rental accommodation. Take a stroll through the cobbled streets with its wealth of medieval towers, courtyards, and cathedrals. Pause for a coffee in one of the largest market squares in Europe, linger to hear the legendary trumpet player emerge from the church tower on the stroke of the hour. Visit the many museums and galleries sprinkled throughout the compact city. In addition to the many permanent collections that the city boasts there are always numerous exhibitions and festivals, jazz concerts, experimental drama, classical music and photography; something surely to appeal to all tastes! This vacation rental is an ideal base to explore the architectural treasure that Krakow is.
Nearby Attractions DescriptionLocated nearby, Cloth Hall is a multi-level mall offering assorted souvenirs. Originally built in the Romanesque style, the Basilica of the Virgin Mary treasury is full of priceless objects of art, including some 300 masterly embroidered ancient vestments. Traditional Polish cuisine at its best features abundant in domestic herbs and exotic spices. As hunting is an important pastime in Polish history, game dishes are popular as are wild mushrooms. Freshwater fish and crayfish have traditionally stood in for seafood in landlocked Krakow. Take an hour to two to walk around the Old Town historical district down the leafy alleys among old trees.
