The house has 4 bedrooms; all situated on the ground floor off either side of the living room, and will comfortably sleep 10 people. Off the right hand side are the master bedroom, with a queen sized bed with an en suite bathroom, a second double bedroom with a queen size bed, and the laundry. Off the left hand side of the living room are the third and fourth double bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other containing 2 sets of bunks. The main bathroom and a storage room are also off this side. There are 2 lounges. Downstairs, facing the beach is a living room/ lounge with a wood-burning fireplace, television and sound system. This opens up on to an enclosed, north facing outdoor living area with a set of outdoor table and 8 chairs and a gas barbecue. A second very large lounge is situated upstairs and has panoramic views over the beach and outer islands.
Surrounding Description
The largest settlement of holiday homes along this coastline, there is 4.5 kms of long white sandy beach which is gently sloping and very safe for children and is excellent for boogie-boarding. Amenities include numerous free tennis courts, a general store/dairy for grocery items and liquor, Pipers Cafe and a hardware/hire store.

There are also many well planned reserves and access walkways to the beach, it is flat and fun for young cyclists. Very social atmosphere during the summer and a popular choices for families. There is a boat ramp onto the Whangapoua harbor and an air landing strip. A significant feature of Matarangi is the picturesque 18 hole golf course, club house with bar and restaurant.
