DESCRIPTION
|
The Alessandra is a lovely farmhouse vacation rental on a beautiful family farm. It is one of our most popular apartments. The grounds are lovely, filled with flowers and herbs in season. Original cobblestone walkways cut through the property and are uneven in spots.
Features DescriptionSet in its own building, this apartment features it's own private patio. The combination living room/dining room is attractive, with a fireplace and a window offering a lovely view of the valley below. The nicely furnished kitchen is separate. Each of its bedrooms includes its own bath. The bedding includes one Italian queen size bed and two separate twin beds.
Surrounding DescriptionA swimming pool is on the property, tucked in among the olive trees. Trevi is ten minutes away, Spoleto is a thirty minute drive, and Assisi and other hill towns are easy day trips.
Nearby Attractions DescriptionIn town, you can visit a modest painting gallery and the Church of St. Francis. The small Flash Museum hosts cutting edge, international art exhibits – an unlikely bit of avant-garde in a quiet Umbrian hill town. The town is lovely, with a lively piazza and numerous small produce and grocery shops, cafés, barbershops and a small selection of good restaurants and coffee bars. Nearby Spoleto is a beautiful town that dates back to Roman times. Sites there include an ancient Roman theater, the Duomo, the castle and museums of archeology, sacred art and modern art. Because of its annual performing arts festival, it has a cosmopolitan feel, with good shopping and a nice selection of restaurants.
