Ballena Marine National Park is only a 15 minute drive down the Coastal Highway, with a gorgeous string of beaches along the way and two other National Parks close by including Manual Antonio just 35 minutes to our North. Our vacation rental is great for those on their honeymoon or wanting to pretend they are on their honeymoon.
From your top floor 180´ unobstructed ocean view terrace you can see a variety of birds and wildlife throughout the day. Watch the activity of the local fishing boats from the small anchorage in the bay. There is a primary jungle ridge behind the house that is corridor for white-faced with best viewing results early in the morning & late afternoon so bring your bonoculars.
Olas Hermosas sits on a rare spot on the ocean side of the coastal highway, built with the remarkable view as the architectural focal point and from every part of the efficiency you'll see the beautiful bay, stunning beach and ocean views. Even when you are in the shower. Get away from the crowds and stay in a private, clean, secure environment. It is not uncommon that you will find you are the only one on this secluded mile-long picturesque beach that is just a 4 minute walk to swim, sunbathe, stroll the beach or look for shells and sand dollars. Beach chairs are provided for your comfort on the beach and also a cooler for your cool drinks plus snacks are provided. We have two boogie boards you can rent for your entire visit for $10 each and also a cell phone for calls within Costa Rica at our cost. Relax at the end of the day and watch as the sun sinks into the ocean. In addition to the regular gorgeous sunsets, you will experience the soothing sound of the rhythm of the ocean waves or, at other moments, witness dramatic scenes as huge waves encounter the rocks in a beautiful display of Nature at her best.Olas Hermosas is furnished with a full kitchen, air conditioning, hot water, sunflower seed shower head, washer and dryer, speaker system that can be used with your iPod or other music input devices, BBQ and cable TV. A king-size bed converts to two twins, and for the third or fourth person there is one double futon and/or a high end air bed with pump. All you need to bring are your personal items.The front of the property has a private gated entrance. You do not need a 4-wheel drive since you never have to leave pavement from the airport to our gated entrance. You will only be a mile from shops and restaurants in the village of Dominical. There are a couple of restaurants that walking distance from the property. The front yard area is fully landscaped using tropical plants and flowers found locally. The efficiency is perfect for a a single person or a couple but can accommodate 4. You can enjoy the views from the comfortable outside furniture or the inside couch positioned to maximize your view. The top floor unit has a full kitchen, full bath, air conditioning, hot water and access to washer/dryer. A private gated entrance with off-street protected parking and private terrace is yours to enjoy. Olas Hermosas is only two kilometers from little shops and restaurants in the village of Dominical. A wonderful waterfall with swimming hole is not far away. We can help you with transportation from the airport, car rentals, and activities in the area, knowledge of best restaurants, our favorite local beaches or any other general information about the area.
