Tastefully restored and furnished with antiques, parquet floors with inlaid Vietri tiles, this retreat has character and charm.

Features Description

An open-plan hall, dining room, spacious sitting room and two bedrooms give families or two couples enough space to spread out and make guests feel at home. The first bedroom offers a king bed, and the second can be a king or two twin beds. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a tub. With designer cabinets, the kitchen is very well equipped and includes a stove top, oven and fridge.

With picture-perfect balcony views of the tiled roofs and hills of ancient Amalfi, you won't have to leave your apartment to get a genuine feel for this fabled coast of Italy. Both of the bedrooms have balconies, and this retreat is not far from the beach.

Considered to be the most spectacular coastline in Italy, the Amalfi stretches for fifty km along steep cliffs affording breathtaking views of rugged scenery framed by the radiant blue Mediterranean Sea. A narrow road winds along the promontory from Sorrento to Salerno overlooking terraced vineyards, lemon orchards, olive groves and numerous villages that cling precariously to the sheer rock face. Each curve reveals domed churches, villas of Bougainvillea-draped stucco, bustling marinas and secluded coves edged in black volcanic sand. Immerse yourself in Roman history in the amazing ruins of Pompeii. Marvel at the mosaics of the Ravello Cathedral along other stunning religious art throughout the region. Revel in the superb food and wine -- the seafood, the pastas, the desserts -- all served with a joy for life, then walk it off, clambering up the steep little stairway paths that snake through each one of these steep towns.
