A two minute walk to Fifth Avenue is all you need to to indulge in the sights and sounds that have made Playa del Carmen a favored international destination. From restaurants and quaint cafes to galleries and shops the options never end. Casa Temkin is located in the popular building Hacienda San Jose which is located just steps away from the hottest beach in town known as Mamitas Beach. Sip an ice cold Margarita while dipping your toes into the warm waters of the Caribbean Sea and just watch the world go by what could be better?

At Playa del Carmen you’ll find beautiful beaches looking out onto the Caribbean Sea, which are ideal places to relax or do all kinds of water sports: snorkeling, windsurfing and even kitesurfing. For those who like scuba diving, there are boats departing from the docks which offer exciting outings to the Great Mayan Reef, the second largest coral reef (system) in the world.  Near Playa del Carmen you can discover Playa Paamul and Playa Paraiso, two beautiful beaches with calm waters and gorgeous ecological parks: Xcaret and Xel-Ha. Also nearby are numerous sinkholes where you can do rappelling and cave diving while exploring the amazing depths of underground river systems.

Parque Ecologico Tres Rios offers guided horseback tours along the beach or on trails that cut through the jungle.
