This holiday home features three bedrooms, one bath, a stereo with CD/Cassette player, an electric wall oven, bench top hobs, range hood, fridge/freezer, plenty of cupboard space, a mix of stainless steel and formica bench tops, toaster, electric jug and a good selection of pots, pans, crockery and cutlery. There is no Microwave. Throughout the house are polished particleboard floors making this home ideal for relaxed living and easy care holidays. The laundry is equipped with an automatic washing machine. There is also a BBQ and outdoor furniture available. There is no land line telephone connection.

Surrounding Description

The largest settlement of holiday homes along this coastline, there is 4.5Kms of long white sandy beach which is gently sloping and very safe for children and is Usually excellent for boogie-boarding. Amenities include numerous free tennis courts, a general store/dairy for grocery items and liquor, Pipers Café and a hardware/hire store. There are also many well planned reserves and access walkways to the beach, it is flat and fun for young cyclists. Very social atmosphere during the summer and a popular choices for families. There is a boat ramp onto the Whangapoua harbor and an air landing strip. A significant feature of Matarangi is the picturesque 18 hole golf course, club house with bar and restaurant.
