Surrounding DescriptionA 4-minute walk through walkways will have you on the northern end of the beach and a 30 second walk takes you to the harbor.
Nearby Attractions DescriptionThere are also many well planned reserves and access walkways to the beach, it is flat and fun for young cyclists. Very social atmosphere during the summer and a popular choices for families. There is a boat ramp onto the Whangapoua harbor and an air landing strip. A significant feature of Matarangi is the picturesque 18 hole golf course, club house with bar and restaurant.
