A modern 2 bedroom home, decorated with bright fresh colors throughout. Just a 5 minute walk approximately 450 meters from the back gate to the beach and 3 sections over from the tennis courts. North facing with large bi-fold windows and doors that open to the great outdoors.
Features DescriptionThe master bedroom has a queen size bed with the 2nd bedroom also having a queen bed and two single bunks. Closets both have shelving systems and hangers. The lounge and dining area are both open plan with bi-fold doors at each end which is great for the afternoon breeze to flow through. Furnished with a 6 seater dining table, 2 x 3 seater couches, large coffee table, mini system stereo and a wood burner fire for those cold winter nights. Sorry there is no television.
Surrounding DescriptionThe largest settlement of holiday homes along this coastline, there is 4.5 kms of long white sandy beach which is gently sloping and very safe for children and is excellent for boogie-boarding. Amenities include numerous free tennis courts, a general store/dairy for grocery items and liquor, Pipers Cafe and a hardware/hire store.
Nearby Attractions DescriptionThere are also many well planned reserves and access walkways to the beach, it is flat and fun for young cyclists. Very social atmosphere during the summer and a popular choices for families. There is a boat ramp onto the Whangapoua harbor and an air landing strip. A significant feature of Matarangi is the picturesque 18 hole golf course, club house with bar and restaurant.
