Spectacular views of tidal marsh and ocean. Every room has an ocean view. In great condition and proves the concept that “green can be luxurious”. This home has an equal mix of family gathering space and out-of-the-way privacy nooks. On the first floor, the brand new granite and stainless kitchen is open to the living and dining areas, all surrounded by a spacious deck open to ocean breezes and wonderful views. Hardwood floors. French doors provide seamless transitions to the outdoor living areas, with a nice balance between sundrenched relaxation and shady spaces to curl up with a good book. Still on the first floor, a corridor leads to a master suite with a spa-like bathroom. Bahama shutters provide shade and storm protection and give the home a tropical feel. The second floor has two bedrooms, a full bath and a den area with soundproof glass.There are bunk beds in one room and a queen in the other, and each has built in window seats and tucked away closets and shelving. Lofty ceilings and expansive views give a sense of luxury to every room. A ships ladder leads to the loft bedroom, where a built-in elevated bed provides storage and 360 degree views. Go to sleep in the treetops and wake to the sunrise over the ocean. Watch the pelicans soar by and open the windows wide to let in the sound of the waves on the shore. Outside, a private wooden walkway leads to a marsh overlook, perfect for watching the birds and otters or fishing from your own backyard. The community beach access path is nearby. This was one of first sites chosen on the island and offers spectacular views of ocean and Lake Timicau. House is named Osprey Nest in honor of the active osprey nest out front.
