DESCRIPTION
Once the municipal building of the mediaeval hilltop village of Montecastelli Pisano, this ancient palace has been recently restored and converted into a comfortable and characteristic holiday home.
The property is situated on the edge of the small village overlooking the famous Torre Sillana in a unique and exceptional beautiful position with breathtaking panoramic views over the Cecina and Elsa valleys, down to the sea and the Chianti hills.
Internally it has been carefully renovated maintaining the original features and tastefully furnished in the typical Tuscan style and provided with modern facilities.
Externally, and for the exclusive use of the guests, there is a panoramic garden with furnished gazebo and barbecue for comfortably dining in the open air, and a marvellous, most panoramic swimming pool (6x12 m. x 1,40 m. depth) with Jacuzzi (6 m. diameter).
No shops are at present available in the village, the nearest essential services (restaurants, bar, grocery shop, post office) can be found in San Dalmazio (6 km), whilst the larger towns of Pomarance and Castelnuovo Val di Cecina (13 km) offer all kinds of services.
Some other distances: Volterra 35 km, Massa Marittima 40 km, Siena 45 km, Florence 75 km, Pisa 88 km, whilst the beaches of the Tuscan coast are 60 km away.
