DESCRIPTION
|
This stilt house is located in a natural and secluded area known as Horseshoe Beach: Florida's Last Frontier. It is on a canal which leads directly into the Gulf of Mexico and is only three lots away from open waters. There are no better flats in Florida than this area and the sunsets are unmatched as Horseshoe Beach extends out into the Gulf waters.
Features DescriptionThe house is very simple yet has everything you need and is very comfortable. There is one bedroom: 2 queens, 1 double, and a twin. This home is located right on the canal waters, with easy access to the gulf.
Surrounding DescriptionThe free public boat ramp is only one block away. 20 minutes from Cross City to the West. Horseshoe Beach is a key-like community shaped like a horseshoe with an elaborate system of canals. Our favorite thing to do here is pull up the traps in the back dock and boil up some delicious blue-crabs which are available year-round. It is always nice to catch your dinner by rod reel, by swimming, or by simply pulling on a rope connected to one of the three crab traps tied to the dock. The boat ramp is one block away and is an easy walk back from the house to pick up your vehicle.
Nearby Attractions DescriptionHorseshoe Beach has several off road trails to cruise in vehicles, bikes, or by foot in which you will see some of the elite wildlife. The activities here are endless, but it's also very nice if you just want to hang out and enjoy the serenity and the key-like atmosphere.
