Features DescriptionThe Von Moos Lower apartment is comfortably furnished. It has a storage room and nice outside sitting area. Dark colored furnishings adorn the living room. The kitchen is nicely equipped and even has a microwave. Heat (when needed) is supplied by a self-adjusted heating system. Windows in the living room and bedroom provide a pretty view of the broad valley of Giswil and the alpine foothills to the west.
Surrounding DescriptionStores, restaurants, bank, tennis courts and the train station are all within a ten minute walk, which except for the last 50 yards uphill, is flat and easy.
Nearby Attractions DescriptionGiswil, which is relatively untouched by tourism, offers a large supermarket, bakery, butcher, bank/ATM and some nice restaurants. The bustling cultural center of Luzern is just 36 rail minutes to the north. The famed Brunig Pass, gateway to the high Alps of the Bernese Oberland where beautiful scenery and excellent hiking can be enjoyed, is 30 rail minutes to the south. Rail service is excellent, operating at least hourly in each direction, making Giswil a perfect base for day trips throughout Switzerland.
