El Taj Ocean is on the beach in the Premier Zone of Playa del Carmen, Mexico. It is on Calle 12 and the beach. Directly across from El Taj Ocean is El Taj Beach, another of our properties.
Our guests enjoy free Beach chairs at Indigo Beach Club and free use of The Gym at Porto Playa (1 block away).
Our unit is the largest 1 bedroom unit closest to the beach and the only one to have a large (75 sq. ft.) private balcony off the master bedroom. You’ll have spectacular views of the turquoise blue waters and white sandy beaches from all rooms. There are marble floors from the terrace, throughout including on the large balcony off the master bedroom and the terrace off the kitchen and living room. The high ceilings, private terrace and private balcony enhances the viewing pleasure of the unspoiled Caribbean setting.
Sit outside on either the private balcony off the master bedroom or the private terrace and listen to the crashing waves of the Caribbean Sea below you and feel the soft Gulf breezes. Tap into the wireless internet while you sit outside with a cup of coffee or glass of wine.
The large master bedroom has a view of the water and beach, king-sized bed, flat screen television, closets, and safe. There are French doors leading to a private, 75 square foot balcony that also has views of the water and beach.
The living room has windows facing the beach and water plus two huge sliding glass doors leading out to the private terrace. There is a 10 foot long built in couch, large flat screen television, DVD Player, and stereo system in the living room.
The living room is open to the kitchen and both face the Gulf on one side and a private terrace on another side. The terrace side opens to the terrace, the tropical plants in the courtyard and overlooks the pool on the lower level and Jacuzzi.
The kitchen has everything you need including a full sized stainless steel refrigerator, stove, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, cookware, eating utensils, granite countertops, and more.
The bathroom has marble walls and the shower has a window.
Leave our unit and walk down the stairs, past the pool and lounge area, and you're on the beach. The beach in front of El Taj is white powdery sand and you can walk for miles in either direction. The Private Beach Club is next to the pool and there are palm trees to relax under if you need a break from the sun.
The courtyard has beautiful landscaping of palm trees, tropical plants, flowers and three jetted whirlpool bath chaise lounge chairs that face the beach and water. Complementary outdoor tables and lounges are provided for relaxing and entertaining around the pool.
